SUPPORT THAT KEEPS STUDENTS MOVING FORWARD

Stocked for Success reflects the Chancellor’s Century Council’s longstanding commitment to helping students overcome practical barriers to success. Through support for food pantries, career closets, suit banks, and other campus resources, the CCC has helped students across The Texas A&M University System stay focused on their education and prepare for what comes next.

Today, Student Regent Lisa D. Cantu is helping bring greater visibility to that work and the students it serves. For Cantu, the mission is personal. As a college freshman preparing for her first job interview, she turned to a campus career closet for professional clothing. She knows that ambition and ability are not always enough. Sometimes, a student also needs groceries for the week or the right clothes to wear when opportunity arrives.

Student Regent Lisa Cantu stands with Tarleton State University student leaders in a campus food pantry surrounded by shelves stocked with pantry items as part of the Stocked for Success campaign.

MORE THAN RESOURCES

A bag of groceries can help a student stay focused on earning a degree. Professional clothing can help a student walk into an interview prepared and confident. Through Stocked for Success, the CCC is helping bring greater visibility to these resources, the students they serve, and opportunities for others to support them. Explore resources across the A&M System and find ways to help students stay Stocked for Success.
