MORE SUPPORT. MORE MOMENTUM.
Getting students through the door is only the beginning. Across the A&M System, we’re building a more intentional student experience with strong teaching, connected support, a focus on well-being, and modern tools that help students keep moving toward graduation.
SUCCESS SHOULDN’T BE LEFT TO CHANCE
Students can lose momentum for reasons that have little to do with their ability. A course isn’t available, advising is difficult to navigate, financial concerns get in the way, or students need help but aren’t sure where to turn.
Across The Texas A&M University System, we are removing barriers and building up support around the whole student. That means connecting academic, career, and financial resources, investing in excellent teaching and student well-being, using technology responsibly to improve learning, and listening to students to make their experience better.
The goal is to make it easier for students to get the help they need, stay on track, and finish what they started.

INNOVATING IN STUDENT SUPPORT
Students shouldn’t have to navigate college alone. Across the A&M System, universities are connecting academic, career, and financial support while making the student experience easier to navigate.
At Prairie View A&M University, every undergraduate is assigned a PV Cares team made up of an academic advisor, career coach, and financial counselor. Other efforts across the A&M System are improving advising, course access, transfer, and planning to remove barriers that can cost students time and momentum.
The idea is simple: make it easier for students to get the guidance they need and keep moving toward their goals.

SUPPORTING WELL-BEING BEFORE A CHALLENGE BECOMES A CRISIS
Helping students thrive means caring for their well-being, both when they need immediate help, and before challenges become crises.
TELUS Health Student Support provides free, confidential, 24/7 mental health support to A&M System students. Through the A&M System’s partnership with The Jed Foundation, the A&M System is also taking a longer-term approach to mental health, substance misuse, and suicide prevention, helping universities strengthen the environments where students live and learn. Together, these efforts make well-being part of student success, not something separate from it.
INVESTING IN GREAT TEACHING FOR A CHANGING WORLD
Student success ultimately depends on what happens in the classroom.
Across The Texas A&M University System, we’re investing in excellent teaching and preparing faculty to use new tools in ways that strengthen learning.
Through a systemwide partnership with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), faculty strengthen evidence-based teaching practices designed to improve student learning and engagement. The 2026 AI Learnathon also helps faculty and staff explore how emerging AI tools can be used responsibly, effectively, and ethically.
By strengthening how students learn today, we help prepare them to succeed in the world they’ll enter tomorrow.
