Facilitator Training Completed
The past three days saw approximately 50 A&M System personnel participate in the basic track of conflict resolution training, designed to allow staff to serve as Facilitators for the resolution of civil rights complaints. The online training (via Webex) covered the essentials of conflict, conflict styles, listening and questioning skills, the facilitation process, and the application of participants’ knowledge and skills through roleplay activities. The program was provided by Rick Olshak and by Joseph Alfe, who serves as the Informal Resolution Facilitator & Mediator for Texas A&M University.
The following people have completed the classwork portion and all passed the post-test (minimum score of 80%). These people are approved civil rights facilitators for the system through December 31, 2024. This list will be updated as new test scores are submitted through the end of the month:
