Philip McLemore
Philip is a member of the Student Affairs & Special Projects section in the Office of General Counsel. He handles a broad range of legal matters in areas of actual and potential legal liability, as well as focuses on Student Affairs and Compliance issues such as Title VI, Title IX, Americans With Disabilities Act/Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Clery Act, and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
Philip joined the Office of General Counsel in October 2024. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, he was an Assistant District Attorney with the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office. During his time as an Assistant District Attorney, he served as a felony prosecutor, intake attorney, and appellate attorney. Philip was a high school teacher and coach before attending law school.
