Sharon S. Gilmore serves The Texas A&M University System and its member institutions and agencies in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group.
Sharon joined the Office of General Counsel (“OGC”) in 2024. Sharon’s legal career began with the law offices of Schwartz & Eichelbaum P.C., now Eichelbaum, Wardell, Hansen, Powell and Munoz, defending Texas school districts in employment matters with an emphasis on Title VII and Age Discrimination.
To further develop experience in labor and employment law, Sharon joined Busch & Myers, LLP. After nearly seven years with OCR, Sharon returned to practicing labor and employment law with The Myers Group, LLP, now Kaufman Dolowich, LLP. Sharon represented clients at the administrative level (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Texas Workforce Commission-Civil Rights Division) by drafting position statements and participating in mediation.
