Lynda Cook

Lynda joined the Office of General Counsel in June 2014.  She is a compliance attorney with 21 years experience in government law.  At OGC she focuses on export controls, federal compliance and animal welfare act issues.

Prior to joining OGC she was a Staff Attorney with the Wyoming Legislative Service Office, offering advice and drafting legislation for state lawmakers in multiple subject matters.  Additionally, Lynda was a Senior Assistant Attorney General with the Wyoming Attorney General’s office, focusing on animal/wildlife and natural resource law.  She is licensed to practice in Texas and Wyoming and has handled cases before U.S. Supreme Court and 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
