Sick Leave Direct Donation
The Texas A&M University System (system) provides the opportunity for an employee to donate sick leave to an eligible employee in accordance with state law.
Eligibility
Employees may donate any amount of accrued sick leave to another employee if the employee works for the same member as the donor and the employee has exhausted available sick leave or applicable sick leave pool hours. Note that

- Sick Leave Pool/Direct Donation Medical Certification Form for Employee’s Serious Health Condition To be completed by employee’s health care provider for an employee to request hours from the Sick Leave Pool for his/her own serious health condition. (HR 36E 8/17)
- Sick Leave Pool/Direct Donation Medical Certification Form for Employee’s Family Member’s Serious Health Condition To be completed by employee and employee’s family member’s health care provider for an employee to request hours from the Sick Leave Pool for a family member’s serious health condition.
