Work Groups & Task forces

CATIE establishes work groups, task forces, and committees to address specific topics requiring ongoing discussion, evaluation, or oversight. These groups may also be formed at the request of the Executive Committee chair or the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA). Meetings are scheduled as necessary and may be conducted in person, virtually, or a combination of these formats.

Accessibility & Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

Advises chief academic officers on accessibility compliance and collaborates with EIRAC on system-wide initiatives to integrate UDL principles. This work group aims to enhance awareness and implement best practices that ensure learning environments are designed to accommodate a variety of needs and learning preferences.

AI, Innovative & emerging technologies

Dedicated to equipping faculty with the knowledge and resources to explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies into teaching and learning. Through curated AI resources, collaboration, and best practices, this group empowers educators to enhance student engagement and academic success across the A&M System.

Amplifying success & communication

Focused on enhancing the visibility and engagement of CATIE across the A&M System. This work group aims to establish consistent, branded communication across various channels that highlights innovative educational practices throughout the system, ensuring that faculty and stakeholders stay informed and connected.
