2022 Chancellor’s Conference on Academic Technology

The Texas A&M System Council for Academic Technology and Innovative Education (CATIE) announces the 2022 Texas A&M Chancellor’s Conference on Academic Technology to be held in-person and virtually on June 27-28, 2022.

This year’s theme, Now & Next: Transformative Educational Technology will explore innovative and transformative uses of academic technology across the Texas A&M University System.

The event is open to all Texas A&M University System members faculty, staff, administrators, and students.

Registration

The conference’s new hybrid meeting format allows attendees to participate on-site and in-person in Bryan/College Station, as well as online via the virtual Accelevents conference platform. We are excited about the opportunity to see each other in person again and to continue offering a vibrant, rich program to enable meeting with our system members. This event is open to employees of any Texas A&M University System university or agency only.

Registration fee:  There is no conference registration fee to attend the event, in-person or virtually.

Conference Tracks

This year’s conference will include program tracks to allow participants to engage in a more meaningful way. Conference tracks include:

  • Learning Technologies: sessions that explore digital tools and technologies used to transform teaching, learning, and assessment
  • Teaching Online: sessions that examine transformative teaching strategies, effective practices, and quality standards for online teaching
  • Universal Design for Learning/Accessibility: sessions that explore accessible course design and teaching practices to develop a flexible, transformative learning environment for all learners
  • Social Media: sessions that explore the transformative use of social media as a learning tool, digital literacy, mental health concerns, development, networking

Stella Hotel Reservation Link for CCAT2022 Conference Attendees

The Stella Hotel is the closest hotel to the RELLIS campus. The distance is 7.0 miles, about a 10-minute drive. For a limited time, conference attendees can book at a discounted rate of $96/night. The last day to book at the discounted rate is Monday, June 6, 2022.
