The Council for Academic Technology and Innovative Education (CATIE) leads the innovative and strategic use of technology to advance learning outcomes and improve educational experiences across System members. Serving as an advisory body to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, CATIE provides informed recommendations on emerging trends, best practices, and purposeful initiatives aimed at enhancing technology-supported teaching, learning, and student success.

Through expertise and collaboration with other  A&M System-level councils and committees, CATIE members guide system-wide efforts to integrate innovative instructional technologies, enhance learning environments with technology, and support faculty and student success.

By promoting research-driven approaches and sharing proven strategies, the Council ensures that technology-enriched and innovative education remains adaptable, effective, and aligned with the evolving needs of higher education.
