Grammarly for Education Pilot
A year-long pilot partnership to provide robust writing support tools for students and faculty across its 11 universities. This initiative aims to improve academic success by addressing writing challenges in high DFWI (Drop, Fail, Withdraw, Incomplete) undergraduate courses and enhancing faculty support. Funded by System leadership, the pilot emphasizes collaboration, targeted integration, and the use of Grammarly’s advanced writing tools and new AI features to foster better outcomes for both students and educators. By integrating these tools into courses and campus services, the initiative seeks to foster academic success and improve overall writing proficiency.
Key Details
- No Cost to Institutions: The A&M System has fully sponsored the pilot.
- Limited Licenses Available: About 1,000 licenses will be distributed to faculty/staff across participating member universities, and the remaining 9,000 licenses to their associated students.
- Focus Areas: Undergraduate, writing-intensive courses with high DFWI rates.
- Target Audience: Primarily faculty teaching in the focus areas and their students.
- Program Length: January 2025 – December 2025
