Mission Statements
As provided by 19 Texas Administrative Code, §5.24 Submission of Mission Statements and Planning Notification and System Policy 03.02 Academic Mission Statements and Program Inventory, the Board of Regents approves changes to an institution’s mission statement.
How to Submit a Request to create or revise a mission statement
Requests to create or revise a mission statement require the submission of the Agenda Item Briefing Minute Order. The agenda item is submitted to the Board of Regents for approval.
Submit the request with all required documents via email to AA-AgendaItems@tamus.edu.
