New Doctoral Degree Program
Institutions proposing new doctoral or professional programs should refer to Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Rules §2.146.
Process
1. Notification of Planning
Member institutions must submit a Planning Notification at least one year prior to submitting a new doctoral program request.
2. A&M System Office of Academic Affairs (Review)
Submit a new degree program request with all required documents via email to AA-AgendaItems@tamus.edu.
3. Board of Regents for consideration and approval
4. Submission to the THECB for consideration and approval
