Office of Research and Federal Relations
Mission
The mission of the System Office of Research and Federal Relations (RFR) is to lead the development of the research capabilities of the System, and to increase our success in attracting federal funds and making the A&M System more effective at the federal level.
Goals
- Build research capability across the System and increase success of researchers in obtaining funds
- Increase federal funding for all functions in the A&M System
- Increase recognition and reputation of System capabilities at the national and international levels
- Make the A&M System a part of national policy making in national and international initiatives
