System Real Estate Office
Welcome to the web site of the System Real Estate Office for The Texas A&M University System. The Texas A&M University System is one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation. With a presence in nearly every county in the State of Texas, the A&M System employs more than 26,000 people and consists of nine (9) universities, seven (7) state agencies, and a Health Science Center which serve more than 101,000 students and reach 11 million people each year through its various service missions. In support of this infrastructure, the A&M System controls more than 55,000 surface acres and 53,000 mineral acres in the State of Texas. The System Real Estate Office is responsible for oversight control of the A&M System's real property and for providing information regarding the System’s land and mineral holdings to the Board of Regents and the respective System members.
Within this web site you will find general information concerning the Land and Mineral Holdings of The Texas A&M University System, Properties Available for Sale, and Properties Available for Surface and Mineral Lease.
The System Real Estate Office Facts and Services area provides, among other things, checklists which may be used by System members in the construction of leases for improved and unimproved properties. Simply download these checklists, fill them in and e-mail them to us - we will handle the rest. As an additional service, we have also included an area for other Real Estate Links, which allow access to some of our favorite real estate web sites.
