Attorney-Client Relationship Statement
We are attorneys employed by The Texas A&M University System in the Office of General Counsel. Our services are provided to the components, governing board, and employees of the A&M System in their official capacity. There is no charge for our services. We do not advise clients on personal legal matters. Individual clients are free to retain their own attorneys as they believe necessary to represent or advise them in their personal capacity. However, the fees and expenses of such representation will not be reimbursed or paid by the employing component or the A&M System. Statements and information provided to our attorneys may be disclosed to supervisors and other officials--including law enforcement--as deemed necessary to best serve the interests of The Texas A&M University System. In the event that an individual client's personal interests conflict with or are likely to conflict with those of the A&M System, including any of its components, clients will be informed by the Office of General Counsel as soon as possible. Employees utilizing our services are encouraged to contact the General Counsel if they have questions or concerns about the attorney-client relationship.
