Hummingbird Software for FAMIS

The process for obtaining a Hummingbird Site License has changed. You can no longer download the software from the Software Evaluation and Licensing Library (SELL) web site.

Local users must take a blank CD to SELL (Computing Services Center, Room 1105)
Non-local users must mail a blank CD to SELL stating three things:

  1. Name of the software to copy to the disc
  2. Name of the user and the use
  3. Return mailing address

Void Check Screens

An additional field is now available to provide a reason why a check was voided. This field has been added to Screens 110 and 137, and is a required field for all System members.

The reason code entered on these screens is displayed on Screen 169 next to the void check date. The following list shows the valid reasons for voiding a check:

A     Amount incorrect on check
D     Duplicate payment
I      Incorrect Vendor address
L     Lost/Stolen/Destroyed
S     Stale dated check/reissue
U     Unclaimed property
W    Wrong Vendor Name

FAMIS Holiday Tables

Don't forget to update Screen 818 with the holidays for your campus, agency or center. This is important for the proper processing of checks, vouchers and interest related issues.
